Anti-Mite Spray

A spray formulated with Aloe Vera and essential oils of cade, lavandin and eucalyptus citriodora to protect birds against mites and other parasites whilst also helping to repair and strengthen feathers.

Made from 98% natural and organic ingredients, and paraben-free.

Available as a 100ml bottle with dispensing spray.

USES

• Helps to repel mites
• Helps to repair plumage

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

• Shake before use and spray from a distance of 20 cm all over the plumage and legs.
  • For birds from canaries to small parakeets: 1 spray.
  • For birds from cockatiels to parrots: 2 sprays. 
• Use once a week until all mites have disappeared.
• Avoid contact with face/eyes.
• For external use only.

The Properties of Eucalyptus Citriodora 

Eucalyptus citriodora is noted in studies for its ability to repel insects - it is notably used in mosquito repellents for its capacity to drive them away from human skin. It also has a pleasant, fresh, floral smell, making it far nicer to apply than some synthetic chemicals.

The Properties of Lavandin

Lavandin is a hybrid plant producing an essential oil with strong antiseptic, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties, often used for natural skincare and pain relief.

The Properties of Cade

Cade extract has natural antiseptic properties, and is used to help in the treatment of skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.

The Properties of Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera contains many naturally occurring antioxidants and has recognised antiseptic, antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, antifungal and immune-regulating properties. It has ‘cooling’ properties with most skin and feather problems being ‘warm’ disorders.
